What is Facial Liposculpture?
Facial Lipo-sculpture is the use of fat transfer techniques to inject the patient’s own body fat into the face in a way that is designed to restore its natural contours. The procedure is a natural alternative to the other volume fillers that we offer at FacesFirst, and many people are attracted to the idea of using their own tissue to achieve great volume results. The procedure can be done in the office under local anesthesia or coordinated with another surgical rejuvenation procedure of your eyes or face under general anesthesia. Fat is harvested from your legs or abdomen, processed, and then placed strategically in areas throughout your face. There may be some bruising and recovery is about a week or two. Results usually last 6-10 years!
Do You Need Facial Liposculpture?
As we age, our tissues sag, droop and deflate, and the fat in our face becomes thinner and less dense. Simply lifting the sagging tissues back into place does not always restore the tissue to its youthful appearance. Often, fat transplantation is a great method of facial plastic surgery to restore the fullness and natural contours of youth, in addition to lifting the sagging tissues.
