Downtime and Recovery

While the minimally invasive seamless facelift is less extensive than traditional surgery, it still requires some downtime. Some people can return to work in a few days. There may be some bruising or tenderness that will improve within a few weeks. The results gradually improve even further over a few months. During the first few weeks following your procedure, patients may experience minor itching, swelling, and skin peeling. Patients can expect little or no scarring for smooth skin and soft tissue that creates a more youthful appearance.

Christopher Cote, M.D.

Dr. Christopher Cote is a double-board-certified facial and reconstructive plastic surgeon and head and neck surgeon by the American Board of Otolaryngology and the American Board of Facial and Reconstructive Surgery.
