What is Castle Connolly Top Doctors®?

5280 is a highly recognized local magazine that has been creating a list of the best Denver doctors, dentists, lawyers, neighborhoods, and restaurants for over 30 years. For this year’s Top Doctors list, they partnered with Castle Connolly with the shared goal of helping people access the best possible healthcare. About Dr. Cote 

Dr. Christopher Cote is a double board-certified facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon and head and neck surgeon. He has previously been named this year’s Newsweek America’s Best Plastic Surgeon for rhinoplasty and “Physician of the Month” by EarWell in 2022, along with many other honors and career highlights.

Dr. Cote previously served 12 years in the United States Army and was Chief of Otolaryngology for U.S. Forces in Korea. He was also Chief of Otolaryngology and Chief of Facial Plastic Surgery at Walter Reed as well as the otolaryngologist consultant at the White House Medical Unit. His diverse career background has given him a unique perspective and he is grateful to improve patient’s quality of life with plastic surgery and reconstructive procedures. 

About Dr. Picerno

Dr. Nicolette Picerno is board-certified as a head and neck surgeon, facial plastic surgeon, and otolaryngologist (ear, nose, and throat). She is currently the only female facial plastic surgeon in the entire Denver, CO, area. Dr. Picerno has previously been awarded as a Top Doctor in 2018 and 2022 and was named “America’s Best Cosmetic Doctor” by Castle Connelly in 2005 and 2006.

Dr. Picerno’s advanced training and skills give her a unique perspective in the field of cosmetic surgery. She evaluates each patient’s facial structure and where they are at in the aging process to create the best possible treatment plan. Patients also trust her because of her empathy, friendly nature, and dedication to great experiences at each step of their surgical treatment.
