Dr. Picerno’s journey toward transforming lives through plastic surgery began with extensive training at Hahnemann University, School of Medicine in Philadelphia, PA. She then completed her surgery residency and internship at the Medical College of Georgia, Atlanta, GA. Her fellowship for the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery was completed at the Beeson Aesthetic Surgery Institute, Carmel, IN. 

She is professionally affiliated with various organizations, including the American Medical Association, the American Academy of Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery, the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery. Furthermore, she has also been a Real Self Verified Doctor.

Achievements and Awards

Dr. Picerno believes that many medical fields can come together to create the ideal atmosphere for healing and beauty. Because of this, she obtained further education and board certification in Age Management Medicine and Hormone Modulation in 2011.

She has also been honored to receive various awards and achievements throughout her career, including being voted “Woman of the Year” by the American Biographical Institute, named “America’s Best Cosmetic Doctor” by Castle Connolly, voted one of “America’s Top Physicians” by the Consumer Research Council of America, and more.

Personal Life

Dr. Picerno is a married mother of three beautiful boys. She enjoys learning new things, traveling, and participating in the active Colorado lifestyle, including hiking, tennis, aerobics, skiing, camping, bicycling, and ATVing. She appreciates fine arts and music and plays the piano in her spare time. She and her husband are serious animal lovers and have three dogs of their own, plus they own a local doggy daycare.
