Christopher Cote, MD, Named as a Newsweek Best Plastic Surgeon 2024

We are proud to announce that Christopher Cote, MD, has been named one of America’s Best Plastic Surgeons by Newsweek for the second year in a row. This prestigious list recognizes the leading plastic surgeons across various categories, including breast augmentation, eyelid surgery, facelift, liposuction, and rhinoplasty. Among the honorees, Dr. Christopher Cote has been distinguished as one of the top rhinoplasty plastic surgeons in the nation.
How Are America’s Best Plastic Surgeons Chosen?
To compile Newsweek’s Best Plastic Surgeon ranking, thousands of medical experts with knowledge of plastic surgery were invited to an online survey that resulted in the collection of more than 8,400 votes for plastic surgeons representing all surgery categories. Only surgeons from the 20 states with the most plastic surgeons were included in the ranking, and surgeons who offer only reconstructive or non-elective corrections were excluded from consideration.
Dr. Cote has been a leader in rhinoplasty since the beginning of his career. Other practices often refer to him for more complex cases, such as rhinoplasty revision surgery, and he utilizes the latest techniques and innovations to give his patients optimal and outstanding results.
Christopher Cote, MD’s Education and Experience
Double board-certified in otolaryngology and facial plastic surgery, and with more than 20 years of experience, Dr. Cote has an exceptional understanding of nasal structure and function, helping patients achieve their unique aesthetic and functional goals.
“The driving force of what I do is to enhance the lives of my patients,” Dr. Cote said. “Whether I am helping them to look better or improving their health, it’s always rewarding to help someone feel more confident.”
Dr. Cote has an extensive and diverse surgical background.
Before joining FacesFirst, Dr. Cote spent over 12 years with the United States Army. He became Chief of Otolaryngology for U.S. Forces in Korea, where he treated and performed facial reconstruction on many wounded soldiers from Iraq and Afghanistan.
Dr. Cote also served as Chief of Facial Plastic Surgery for four years at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, as well as Chief of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. During his time at Walter Reed, he also trained future surgeons in facial reconstruction using state-of-the-art technologies like 3D printing. He also served as the otolaryngology consultant at the White House Medical Unit.
Dr. Cote is board-certified by both the American Board of Facial and Reconstructive Surgery (ABFPRS) and the American Board of Otolaryngology, making him one of the most certified and specialized rhinoplasty surgeons in the greater Denver area.
Christopher Cote, MD’s Surgical Approach
Dr. Cote employs a minimally invasive approach to rhinoplasty whenever possible. By only removing small amounts of bone and cartilage from the nose, patient surgical risks are decreased. This approach also minimizes both the dangers of nasal bridge collapse and the chances of impaired breathing and unnatural results.
He also highlights the importance of highly personalized treatment plans, as no two patients are the same.
“I have been fortunate to obtain the experience and training to become a facial plastic surgeon, and I am grateful that I can have the privilege to improve my patients’ lives,” he stated. “I strive to listen to each person’s needs and achieve the results they seek.”
